The Design Business Association (DBA) has announced the 2018 shortlist for the highly-coveted DBA Design Effectiveness Awards.
The 54 shortlisted entries from 15 countries, will find out whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards at a black-tie ceremony on 22 February 2018 at The Brewery in London, United Kingdom. The UK’s Creative Industries Minister Matt Hancock is set to give the opening address.
The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards celebrate the power of design to drive business success. Judged by business leaders, and entered jointly by client and designer, the Awards draw focus onto design’s strategic and commercial value to business by championing the role of effective design in the creation of business growth.
The shortlisted winners have been selected through two rigorous rounds of judging, by a panel made up of design and marketing heads from global brands and organisations such as Twitter, The Hershey Company, Beiersdorf, Diageo, Heineken International, British Airways, Mars Global Chocolate, Barclays, LEGO and PepsiCo.
Says Chairman of the Judges, Andrew Summers: "The overall quality of this year's shortlisted winners is very high. Winners demonstrate clearly the link between strong design activity and significant impact on business results.”
