Biennial of DesignExhibition of Biennial of Design (BIO 50) results in Ljubljana

Regional Development Agency of Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR) is the main partner of this year’s Biennial of Design (BIO 50) organized by the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) in Ljubljana.

On its 50th anniversary this international event builds on its tradition and history, advancing into an experimental, collaborative territory, where design is employed as a tool for questioning and transforming ideas about industrial production, public and private space, and pre-established systems and networks.

Design Flanders GalleryMÖBEL, a brand-new, unique and sustainable product line from ResourceLab, will première at the Design Flanders Gallery during Design September 2014.

MÖBEL is a collection of designer furniture conceived by established designers and built by employees of the social economy.

The “ResourceLab” label first saw the light of day during the spring of 2011. The Recycling Workshop is the production site of the non-profit organisation WEB vzw, which creates new products using materials from the Kringwinkelcentrum recycling stores centre that cannot be sold without significant and innovative processing.
