Integrating design into policy documents for SME competitiveness
19/11/19Design4Innovation, an Interreg Europe project involving three BEDA members – PDR, KEPA and Valletta Design Cluster, has published the second Policy Booklet that focuses on Developing Design Support for SMEs.
The publication summarises existing research on the value of design in business and explains how design can help SMEs to innovate and grow. Drawing on the interregional knowledge exchange process, the project gives advice on how to develop effective design support programmes.
The Booklet also includes seventeen examples of good practices in design and innovation support mechanisms identified in project partner regions and beyond.
