Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission is organising a seminar on the New European Bauhaus to present the NEB initiative’s developments in Sweden during the country’s presidency of the Council of the EU and discuss Sweden’s approach to creative governance, culture and design for societal transformation, unveiling some tangible examples on the ground and complementarities between the Swedish and European initiatives inspired by the New European Bauhaus. The event will feature JRC’s Director General Steven Quest, State Secretary from the Swedish Ministry of Culture Karin Svanborg-Sjövall, Helena Bjarnegård, National architect of Sweden and representative of Swedish NEB National contact point and other prominent speakers.
