European Committee of the Regions | European Week of Regions and Cities 2023

The 21st edition of the EU Regions Week is starting on 9 October. If you’re interested in participating, be sure to register before the deadline on 30 September.

The event offers more than 300 sessions covering a wide range of topics related to the cohesion policy. It’s an opportunity to join a diverse community of speakers and participants to discuss common challenges for Europe’s regions and cities. You’ll also have the chance to learn from and exchange experiences and good practices with other attendees, network with regions and cities, and contribute to the debate on EU cohesion policy in a wider context.

The New European Bauhaus will be the main topic of six sessions. Our session ‘New European Bauhaus: Nurturing Beauty, Sustainability and Inclusion for Regional Development’ is scheduled for 12 October between 11:30 and 12:30. You can explore all the sessions and register for them at the event website (link above).

New European Bauhaus: nurturing beauty, sustainability and inclusion for regional development

This workshop will stimulate and have an open discussion on how the New European Bauhaus initiative’s values can resonate with our regions, and how sustainability, beauty and inclusion can be mainstreamed in the interests of their locally-based projects. The aim is to provide concrete examples and have fruitful exchanges between speakers and with the public. The session is intended to be very interactive.
