In this workshop with Tim Maresch & Flo Sturm / maresch&sturm, participants will design and animate simple characters with a sweet personality. Tim Maresch & Flo Sturm will give insight into their way of working around character design and animation.
The workshop will start with the basics of the design of a character and create unique characters based on small specifications. From the sketch to the finished vector illustration, hosts always help and give feedback. In the second part, the character characters will come to life. For this purpose, After Effects will be used to create simple pose-to-pose animations. Then there will be work on the movement and speed curves. At the end, the animation loops of the world will be presented.
The workshop is aimed at illustrators who enjoy animation or animators who enjoy illustration. You need a computer with Adobe Creative Suite installed (Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) and basic knowledge of the programs.
