mcbw is the largest design event in Germany and provides a platform for new ideas, trends, and creativity. It brings together the public, experts, designers, company representatives, and students from design, architecture, the economy, and other disciplines to deliver comprehensive design experiences.

Thorsten Buch – the speaker of this ODD session – is the head of munich creative business week. After he studied Communication-Design at the Institute of Design in Hamburg, Thorsten worked as a Designer, Art Director, Account Director and Design Consultant for TV Stations and Design Agencies in Hamburg and Munich. Since 2005 he has been self-employed in the areas of corporate design, product design and communication in space and lectured on different brand design topics at the AMD Academy for Fashion & Design in Munich.
Open to all BEDA Members, the BEDA Open Door Dialogue (ODD) is an ongoing series of dialogues with a dedicated topic discussing industry-relevant topics. The dialogues take place once per month.
