DESIGNERS+ is thrilled to announce the first edition of “La Nuit du Design” in Saint-Étienne, set on taking place on 26 September 2024, from 14:00 to 23:00 at the Bâtiment des Hautes Technologies.
After three successful years in Grenoble (where la Nuit du Design takes place on Wednesday 18 September at the Grenoble’s WWC), this flagship event is making its debut in Saint-Étienne, with the support of Saint-Étienne Métropole, as the grand finale of France Design Week. The goal is to amplify the reach of design throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
A Key Event for Design Professionals
La Nuit du Design aims to promote design among professionals. It brings independent designers and organisations together through various events to make design more accessible and highlight its diverse spectrum. No doubt this year’s theme, “Is It Easy to Make It Simple?” is going to inspire engaging exchanges.
Programme of the night of design in Saint-Étienne:
- Design Projects Exhibition: Discover innovative creations that emphasize simplicity in design.
- Professional Meetings: Dedicated moments for exchanges between designers and organisations, featuring co-development sessions to collaboratively find solutions.
- Awareness Workshops: Participate in workshops led by partners such as CIRIDD, the Eco-Design Hub, and the Cité du Design to explore eco-design and other methodologies.
- Roundtable – Is It Easy to Make It Simple?: In partnership with Saint-Étienne Métropole, experts will discuss practices related to low-tech, eco-design, and cost-effective design.
- Gala Cocktail: Conclude the evening with a dinner cocktail featuring culinary and musical activities that foster networking and the creation of new economic partnerships.
