Design Week ‘25 – A Festival of Creativity and Innovation Across Six Lithuanian Cities

From 2 to 8 June 2, Design Week ‘25 will invite visitors to discover innovative solutions, explore the works of emerging creators, and experience international projects. This year’s theme – Balance – encourages the search for harmony between aesthetics and functionality, modernity and tradition. Throughout the event, we aim to find creative equilibrium between ideas and their realisation, between beauty and practical use.

The festival program features the VDA Graduating Show, which will take place in four Lithuanian cities and present the creative projects of students from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, reflecting the latest design trends. Design enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to visit the KTU Exhibition, where advanced technological solutions and modern design objects will be showcased.

The fresh ideas of young creators will be exhibited in Dizainovacija.lt showcases, which will decorate urban spaces, revealing innovative products and their applications. During the festival, there will also be creative workshops that invite visitors to actively participate in the design creation process and explore the latest technologies.

An exceptional evening awaits at the LONAS Sleep and Art event, which will combine the culture of rest with aesthetic experience.

This year’s programme places special emphasis on the international project – the Tactile Baltic Exhibition. The Baltic design exhibition, which has received international recognition and caught the attention of global media, returns to Vilnius – this time in collaboration with PACAI Hotel and Range Rover. After successful appearances at London Design Week and Milan Design Week, Tactile Baltics returns to its birthplace. From 22 May to 9 June 2025, the largest Baltic design exhibition to date will be presented in Vilnius, featuring 21 designers from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Curators Audronė Drungilaitė, Dita Danosa, and Triin Loks invite visitors to experience design through form, materials, and emotions.

Tactile Baltics represents a new generation of creators working with glass, ceramics, textiles, and wood – their works integrate into contemporary Northern European aesthetics. The exhibition unites tactility and restraint – its roots lie in the cultural heritage of the region, while its expression is seen in modern technologies. The exhibition becomes not only a display of objects but also a narrative of Baltic identity through material culture.
Design Week ‘25 is an opportunity to see how design transforms our environment and everyday life, merging art, technology, and creativity.

Let’s search for a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
