Designaustria is inviting design event and festival managers and artistic programme managers in Barcelona to apply for the YouRban open Call 3.
The Call is looking for European performers’ managers able to organise and valorise the Barcelona 10-day event (23 April 2026 – 3 May 2026) by means of artistic performances able to engage the audience, improving the project outreach, and showcasing the YouRban technologies and artifacts.
What we are looking for
- Performances in Barcelona that connect with the audience and make the event lively.
- Creative ways to showcase urban technologies and recycled materials.
- Increase the visibility and impact of the project
- Experience in organising and managing artistic events.
Event Location and Setup
There are two possible spaces in Barcelona for the event:
- Option 1: A public open space (such as a square)
- Option 2: A public enclosed space (securely closed at night)
The final location will be chosen by the YouRban consortium.
Applicants must propose solutions for both options and explain how the two set-ups differ.
Funding and Budget
- Number of projects: 1
- Budget per project: €100,000
- Duration: The initiative includes organising the 10-days event in Barcelona and will run for 2 months in total (including preparation).
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants are companies, associations, or organisations from any EU country.

- Use the official templates provided on the platform.
- Proposals must be in English.
