The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards call for entries is underway.
Established in 1989, the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards are the longest running and most robust international effectiveness awards for design out there. They evidence the value design brings to business, society and planet. Design work in any context, from any country is eligible and entries are judged on their own unique context, design solution, and results.
Entries are independently, expertly and robustly peer reviewed by a panel of judges who sit within a wide range of design commissioning organisations and winners use their case studies to prove the value of what investment in design can deliver.
Clive Grinyer, Head of Design & Experience at Primitive, Now+Next’s Co-founder and Former Head of Service Design at the Royal College of Art will chair the judging panel.
“I’m delighted to be chairing the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards – the gold standard in measuring the impact of design, judged by another stellar selection of impressive industry experts from a wonderfully diverse range of industries,” says Clive. “I look forward to fascinating conversations as we explore the entrants’ stories of the impact and success forged from every type of design activity.”
Judges joining Clive on the panel include: Anindya Sundar Das, Senior Director, Head of Global Service Design, Uber; Pernilla Johansson, VP and Head of Digital Experience Design, Volvo Group; Ken Musgrave, Head of Digital Product and Experience Design, Whirlpool Corporation; Chris Padain, VP, Global Head of Product Experience, Design and Packaging, Bayer Consumer Health; Richard Walzer, Design Director, Breakthrough Innovation, Europe, PepsiCo, Vuokko Aro, Chief Design Officer, Monzo Bank, amongst others.
