Who We Are
The Alliance France Design is the multidisciplinary trade union of designers in France, a common foundation for independent, firm owner or in-house designers of all disciplines — messages, products and places. The Alliance exists since January 2003, its vision is by nature open to the diversity of practices, to all the components of the design professions and its vocation is resolutely transversal. In 20 years, the Alliance merged the five main designer unions in France, it is nowadays the only one. It is the first time in France that such a unifying movement has materialized.
What We Do
The Alliance France Design publishes the French designers’ Code of ethics, helps its Affiliates and its Members to understand legal issues, professional insurance and health care. Through publications and exhibitions, the Alliance also communicates to the public on the economic, environmental, cultural and educational issues of design.
