Who We Are
The Association of Dutch Designers (known by its Dutch abbreviation BNO) supports professional designers. We provide knowledge, inspiration and growth opportunities for designers across all disciplines, at every stage of their careers, regardless of their organisational structure.
What We Do
As the largest community of designers and design agencies in the Netherlands, we advocate for the sector’s interests and provide our members with essential legal and business support, including expert guidance on intellectual property, contracts and business growth. We foster connections through networking events, workshops and task forces on key industry topics while facilitating knowledge exchange through publications and training sessions.
To amplify our members’ visibility, we offer a platform to showcase their work via our media channels, interviews and our annual publication Dd, Dutch designers Yearbook. Members also gain access to reports, white papers, industry benchmarks and insights on emerging trends such as generative AI. These resources equip designers with the tools, knowledge and network to succeed.
