Who We Are
designaustria is Austria’s knowledge center and interest association for design. Founded in 1927, the organsiation with its head quarter in at designforum Wien in Vienna, is Europe’s third oldest design organisation. designaustria was founding member of BEDA in 1969, became official partner of the New European Bauhaus iniative, is founding member of the Circular Economy Forum Austria and member of the World Design Organisation and Ico-D.
What We Do
designaustria is supporting its 1,400 members from various sectors in legal, communication and business questions and advocating a national design strategy for Austria.
