Ornamo Art and Design Finland is the voice, community, and support network that helps designers at different stages of their careers to achieve a broadly respected and recognised professional identity. The members of Ornamo are professionals in industrial, service and strategic design, fashion, textile and furniture design, interior architecture, craft art and textile art as well as researches of design and design businesses.
Our vision:
Designers are in prime positions in organisations due to the critical skillsets they possess and the high regard they are held in by the society. Our mission is to advance and sustain life by raising designers to an influential position in society.
Ornamo was founded in 1911, making it the world´s second oldest established designers sector organisation.
