Barcelona Design Week 2023: Design for Human Future
Barcelona Design Week is back with its eighteenth edition from 16 to 28 October celebrating its coming of age and associated with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
With a global scenario marked by uncertainty, complexity, and volatility, design is a key element for people’s present and future, to create a human future. In this sense, BDW’23 promotes a global initiative of adding SDG Number 18: Design for Human Future, which also becomes the motto of the edition.
Halfway to achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda, launched in 2015, now is the time to take a realistic view of what has been achieved so far and what reminds to be done. It is for this reason that we at Barcelona Design Week believe that it’s time to give design the importance it deserves by launching this transversal initiative.
The BDW’23 will include exhibitions, installations, openings, talks and conferences, workshops, round tables, parties and an OFF Program, with more than 100 activities in total!
