BEDA elects 2020-22 Board and welcomes three new Members
During its first online General Assembly held last Friday 29th May, BEDA Member organisations from 22 European Member States plus Serbia, Switzerland and the UK, elected the new Board of Directors for the term 2020-2022 and welcomed three new Members from Belgium, Germany and Poland.
BEDA President Päivi Tahkokallio (Ornamo Art & Design, Finland) said,
“At time of rebuilding for the future of Europe’s next generation, it is critical that BEDA can benefit from the expertise of a diverse and high quality Board. I am delighted that BEDA’s Member organisations continue to actively support our ongoing work through nominating and electing a truly representative Board from across Europe.”
The members of the BEDA Board for the term 2020-2202 are as follows (in alphabetical order):
- Andrew Bradley, Design & Crafts Council Ireland (newly elected, previously co-opted)
- Cyrielle Doutrewe,Wallonie Design, Belgium (re-elected)
- Martin Fössleitner,Designaustria, Austria (re-elected)
- Anna Kohut-Jankó, Hungarian Design Council (re-elected)
- Paulina Kisiel, Gdynia Design Centre, Poland (newly elected)
- Christina Melander, Danish Design Centre, Denmark (newly elected)
- Fabrizio Pierandrei,Association of Industrial Design (ADI), Italy (re-elected)
- Piotr Swiatek, PDR Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK (newly elected)
- Ingrid van der Wacht, Dutch Design Foundation, The Netherlands (newly elected)
