Design Effectiveness: DBA Webinar and Entry Pack
The Entry Pack for the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards has been launched.
To coincide with the launch of the Entry Pack, the DBA recently delivered a webinar ‘Deconstructing design effectiveness’ which took an unfiltered look at design that reshaped markets and shifted human behaviour.
In a conversation led by DBA Chief Executive, Deborah Dawton, esteemed judges Pernilla Johansson, VP & Head of UX Design Chapter in Volvo Group and Olivia Salisbury, former Group VP Global Head of Experience Design at T. Rowe Price, explored standout projects that delivered change and work that didn’t just meet expectations, it redefined them.
You can watch a recording of the webinar and download the Entry Pack for the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards here: www.dba.org.uk/resources/deconstructing-design-effectiveness-dba-webinar/
About the Awards
The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards were established in 1989. They are the longest running, most robust effectiveness awards for design out there.
Entered jointly by the agency or in-house design team delivering the work, and the organisation commissioning it, these awards celebrate the partnerships that deliver value – be that commercial, societal or environmental.
Deadline to Enter: 5 pm GMT on Monday, 14 July 2025
Entries from across the globe are welcome.
Design work in any context is eligible.
The only requirement is that you have the measured proof that design made a clear and significant contribution to the results achieved by the work.
“Winning a DBA Design Effectiveness Award demonstrates the true value design can bring. It elevates design above simply the aesthetic or a cost and highlights the extensive value design can provide across any industry.” Paul Edwards, Head of Advanced Design, Airbus
