France Design Impact Award: A Celebration of Positive Impact of Design

The inaugural ceremony of the France Design Impact Award, orchestrated by APCI (Agency for the Promotion of Industrial Creation), will highlight the importance of collaborations between networks in the design world.

This ceremony will take place on 5 June during the Cumulus Spring Conferences 2025 in Nantes. Cumulus represents the largest international network in the fields of arts education, design, and media and works closely with BEDA to facilitate exchanges between professionals and academics.

L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique, a prominent member of APCI, will play a central role in this event. By hosting the Cumulus conferences, the school positions itself as an incubator of innovative ideas, integrating international practices into the local context. These interactions enrich the students’ and teachers’ understanding of design and stimulate regional development.

On a national level, APCI, also an active member of BEDA, forges links between French creators and their European partners to promote a better future.

The initiatives rewarded by the France Design Impact Award will illustrate the potential of innovation through design to drive sustainable economic, environmental, and societal changes.

The event will highlight the collaborative spirit essential to any significant advancement in the field of design.
