Have Your Say on the Upcoming Circular Economy Act
The European Commission has opened a public consultation and the Call for Evidence on the forthcoming Circular Economy Act, designed to speed up Europe’s shift toward circular practices while strengthening resilience, competitiveness, economic security, and decarbonisation efforts.
Due for adoption in 2026, the Circular Economy Act aims to create a Single Market for secondary raw materials, increase the supply of high-quality recycled materials, and stimulate demand across the EU. It will also support the EU’s goals under the Competitiveness Compass and the Clean Industrial Deal, helping make Europe a world leader in the circular economy by 2030 and doubling the EU’s circularity rate.
Stakeholders can contribute through the Have Your Say portal until 6 November 2025.
