Irish Design Week 2023
Irish Design Week 2023 is back from 13 to 17 November. Applications to submit event ideas are now open until 17 September. This year’s theme ‘Is Folklore the Future?’ will explore Ireland’s rich tradition of storytelling and its significant place in Irish design. Last year, Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) hosted a hugely successful inaugural design week, where the design community came together to address some of the critical issues facing our society. Through 72 inspiring events with 2,350 attendees across 15 venues around Ireland, DCCI focussed on diversity & inclusion, the power of design, mental health & the role of architecture, the future of design, design thinking, sustainability, and connectivity. This year DCCI looks forward to continuing the pioneering conversations about Irish design. Be part of the story.
