ITALIA GENIALE Exhibition Continues its Tour in Asia

The travelling exhibition ITALIA GENIALE, conceived for Expo Dubai 2020 and set up in Rome in 2022, continues its journey in Asia: after Bangkok (Thailand), Shenzhen and Guangzhou (China) it will be open from 21 to 23 September 2023 in Singapore, at FIND Design Fair Asia, a reference point for the entire Asian market for design and furniture.

The exhibition is promoted by the Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of EnterpriseS and Made in Italy, in agreement with the General Commissariat for Expo 2020 Dubai, ADI Association for Industrial Design, Unioncamere and ITA/ICE Agency.

Organized for Italy by Fiera Milano, together with dmg Events, on the occasion of the Singapore Design Week (20 Sept-1 Oct), the exhibition, updated from the previous stages of its itinerary, is a journey through the evolution and the most innovative ideas realized in Italy from the 1930s to the present day, told according to the functions and intended use of more than 70 objects through five categories: Move-able, Live-able, Imagin-eable, Relation-able and Work-able. The exhibition was conceived by Francesco Zurlo (Politecnico di Milano) and Carlo Martino (Sapienza University of Rome).

A special area in Singapore will also be dedicated to Italian companies – the Italian Design Capsule, designed by studio Stefano Boeri Interiors. Here masterclasses curated by Interni magazine will be part of the Global Summit curated by Yoko Choy, China editor of Wallpaper* magazine, in collaboration with a panel of industry experts, bringing together world-class figures to discuss the developments that are driving the design industry today.
