Network projects "Berlin Poland" 2011 - 2020

Organized by International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), the “Berlin Poland” network projects series has brought the creative metropolis of Berlin and the dynamic Polish economy closer together since 2011.
The project initially brought together Berlin design companies and potential Polish clients in the field of product design. In 2016 we expanded our activities to the fashion sector. Since 2019, “Berlin Poland” has concentrated on promoting German-Polish cooperation in the fashion and textile industry. After nine years of successful networking, the project will now expire on 31 March 2020.
We look back with some pride: Over the years we have networked almost 900 companies from Berlin and Poland. In the last four years, Berlin fashion brands have been able to conclude an average of two contracts and establish numerous interesting business contacts. And some of these companies now generate a significant proportion of their turnover from business relationships established as part of the project.
We would like to thank the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and our partners for the inspiring cooperation. We wish our participants continued success in German-Polish cooperation and look forward to maintaining contacts with our neighboring country.
