Social Design Project by esad–idea | Research in Design and Art: O Bairro está IN(clusivo)

O Bairro está IN(clusivo) [the neighbourhood is IN(clusive)] is a social design project by esad–idea, Research in Design and Art, supported by the national programme for healthy neighbourhoods, which main goal is to achieve a better society through design and architecture, focusing on the positive transformation of the urban space of Cruz de Pau neighbourhood. The project brings together three realities: the inhabitants of Cruz de Pau neighbourhood, the students from Matosinhos Secondary School and ESAD/ College of Art and Design’s MA in Interior Design students, through a set of workshops and actions, using art and creativity as a tool for social and urban regeneration [OCT 2021 to MAY 2022].
