Taiwan International Student Design Competition 2026 Extends Submission Deadline
The Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC) 2026 has extended its submission deadline to 15 July 2026, giving students around the world additional time to submit their work under this year’s theme, “Resilience.”
Organised by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, TISDC has grown into one of the world’s leading student design competitions and a global platform for emerging creative talent. Since its launch in 2008, the competition has brought together students from across the world, encouraging creative exchange and demonstrating how design can respond to social challenges and generate positive impact.
TISDC describes itself as a “design-for-good platform,” promoting design solutions that address contemporary issues, create social value, and contribute to sustainable futures. Through international collaboration and cross-cultural dialogue, the competition aims to nurture the next generation of designers with a global perspective.
The competition is open to students currently enrolled in high school, college, or university programmes who are under the age of 30. Entries can be submitted in five categories:
- Product Design
- Visual Design
- Digital Animation
- Architecture and Landscape Design
- Fashion Design
Participation is free of charge, with a total prize pool of NTD 4 million (approximately EUR 109,000). There is no limit to the number of entries, and works that have previously received awards in other competitions are also eligible.
New Submission Deadline: 15 July 2026, 17:59 CEST
BEDA encourages students, design schools, and educational institutions across its network to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase innovative ideas on an international stage.
