The first edition of France Design Week

From 1st to 15th September, the first edition of France Design Week was held with more than 250 events organised by the French design community all around the country. Despite of the Covid-19, the participants were plentiful, managing events which were respecting the government rules in this pandemic situation. And it was a success: a proof that people need this joyful time, sharing moments about design and discovering through exhibitions, talks or workshops what is it and how this method can bring value and solutions in this transitional world.

What is France Design Week Exactly?
France Design Week is a manifestation that seeks to promote the benefits of design for professionals and to increase public awareness of the discipline by bringing together the design community and providing a stage for its various fields. A chance for professionals, design lovers and the public across the country to learn more about initiatives from the design industry, through a variety of events held concurrently to maximise their visibility on a local, national and international level.

It is coordinate by the APCI and a committee of 28 different organisations (local or national organisations dedicated to the promotion of design, design schools, etc).
