BEDA Open Doors: A Human-Centered Approach to Digital Services & AI

online

17:00 - 18:30 CET

BEDA members only

Topic: A Human-Centered Approach to Digital Services & AI
Speaker: Christina Melander, Danish Design Center

Join this unique session with our president Christina Melander and get an introduction to the Digital Ethics Compass – a hands-on approach on how to work in a value-based and design-driven way with responsible and ethical digital services and technologies.

As Director of digital transition at the Danish Design Center, Christina is dedicated to ensuring that we put humans at the centre of the digital transition – specifically in designing digital business models, products, and services. According to Christina, the digital transition should be a question of values rather than digital technologies.

The Digital Ethics Compass is one of the most downloaded open-source tools on ddc.dk, and Christina has presented the tool and conducted workshops to C-level, innovation managers, civil servants, and designers all over the world including the Philippines, US, Canada, Israel, Palestine, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, Iceland, – and Denmark of course.

Fun fact: Japanese NEC has translated the Digital Ethics Compass into Japanese and are in the process of integrating the tool into their innovation processes.

Don’t miss this opportunity – for BEDA members only

The session will be a combination of presentation and group discussions.

Open to all BEDA Members, the BEDA Open Door Dialogue (ODD) is an ongoing series of dialogues with a dedicated topic discussing industry-relevant topics. The dialogues take place once per month.
