On 22 October, CreativeNL Live at Dutch Design Week 2025 presents ‘On A New Crossroad’, a late afternoon event at Natlab in Eindhoven that highlights the power of the Dutch creative industries.
Together with the Dutch Design Foundation, CreativeNL invites pioneers from the creative industry to explore how Dutch creativity can take a leading role internationally. The event showcases the strength of Dutch design today. It will also feature the launch of the new CreativeNL Thought Leader (with the motto Celebrating Dutch Creativity), highlighting from different perspectives how the Dutch creative industry is responding to major global transitions.
The Creative Industry’s internationalisation platform will offer the stage to absolute pioneers from the Dutch industry during CreativeNL Live 2025 – including the new CreativeNL Thought Leader Niek Pulles of Nike. And with them, look for the answer to the question in which we as the Netherlands, should excel more internationally.
This is based on the underlying idea that five types of change are coming to the Netherlands. Technological changes (immersive technologies, AI), political changes (conflict, populism), economic changes (read: power shifts), climate change and demographic changes. If the Dutch (creative) industry wants to maintain itself or grow, it must have a flexible, smart and strong answer to this.
Ex-marketer and columnist/opinion maker Frida Boeke will also give a strong speech.
