Who We Are
Design Federation is an independent European organisation dedicated to strengthening the role and visibility of design through platforms that recognise excellence, foster exchange, and connect the professional design community across borders.
Through the European Design Awards and the European Design Festival, it brings together designers, studios, educators, media, institutions and industry stakeholders around shared standards, dialogue and collaboration.
Originally established in Athens in 2006, the organisation relocated to Estonia in 2015 to support long-term operational continuity within a European framework.
Today, Design Federation manages projects, partnerships and collaborations across multiple European countries through an agile international model.
