PDR is an an award-winning centre of expertise within Cardiff Metropolitan University concerned with the effective use of design as a tool for innovation in the private and public sectors.
Since 1994 we create innovative, user-centred and sustainable solutions for organisations ranging from start-ups and SMEs to blue chips, governments and public institutions across the world. PDR lead and collaborate on projects funded by AHRC and other UKRI programmes, various EC programmes, charities, industry, and government to examine and improve policy, management and practice related to product and service design. Our team have specialist knowledge in conducting world-class, high impact applied research with citizens and developing creative approaches to engagement to drive innovative and sustainable products, services, systems & experiences.
