Who We Are
The Swedish Design Society is the voice of Swedish design drivers and ambassadors.
We want to contribute to a sustainable development of the society – economically, socially and environmentally – by inspiring companies and organizations as well as Swedish municipalities to use the design process in development work.
In order to have a deeper knowledge exchange and more design activities throughout the country, the Swedish Design Society has a number of thematic nodes – one for students, one for designers, one for regional development and for the academia.
What We Do
The Swedish Design Society arranges various activities such as workshops, meetings, courses, conferences and exhibitions. Through these activities the participating members gain a deeper understanding of the potential of design as a tool for innovation.
The Swedish Design Society also supports SVID, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, in the development of the design area.
