Reconsider Design exhibition

Arctic Design Week, which took place from 19 to 25 February in Rovaniemi, Finland, put the focus on circular economy and design with a varied programme that included several events on sustainable design. The exhibition "Reconsider Design", which is part of the EcoDesign Circle project, is coordinated in Finland by Design Forum Finland and will be on show at Science Centre Pilke until 11 March 2018.


MUNICH CREATIVE BUSINESS WEEK (MCBW), which is taking place between 3 and 11 March 2018, is the largest design event in Germany. It is organised by BEDA member bayern design GmbH and sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology and the City of Munich.

Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018

The registration phase for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018 is well under way: Designers and manufacturers from all over the globe still have until 9 February 2018 to register their products. These products can only be objects that are manufactured using an industrial production process. 

Design enters the Spanish Parliament

On 12 January 2018 the Congress of Deputies (lower house of the Spanish Parliament), held a conference on the topic of “Spanish Design in the 21st Century: Challenges and Strategies” gathering more than 200 guests with the government to implement design policies in the context of a broad innovation strategy.
